Driver wireless ubuntu 11.10

Today I installed Ubuntu x64 on to my lenovo B using www.doorway.ru After booting up, I discovered that I could not turn on wireless networking. I have a Atheros AR wireless card. I've been having some problems with the driver for a wireless NIC supplied with the kernel.
